FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is based on calculations made to locate exact point, at which needle filled with anesthetic must be introduced. It is not injured side surface of vertebral bodies as length of puncture is 3-4 times shorter. Needle is introduced perpendicularly to skin and in parallel to projection of spinous process up to stop against outer segments of vertebral arch. In cervical and thoracic regions, needle is inserted to depth of 2-2.5 cm from apex of spinous process, while in lumbar region needle penetration depth is 2.5-3 cm. When needle is inserted, 20-25 ml of anesthetic and 500 mg of vitamin B12 are injected through it. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
