FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particular, fighting of forest and steppe fires with use of aircraft. SUBSTANCE: fire-fighting device for fighting of forest and steppe fires has platform fastened to helicopter in form of modules to which vessels with fire-extinguishing compound are attached. Fire-extinguishing compound has explosive charge in its upper part connected with initiating device and packing located above the charge. Vessel body is made of light nonmetallic material forming no injuring fragments in blasting. Explosive charge may be enclosed in vessel of nonmetallic material and made in form of parallelepiped, polygon, disk, hemisphere with bottom from flexible film. Platform module may be made of large-diameter pipes, and platform, from small-diameter pipes, rods or channels. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 8 cl, 4 dwg
