FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly to extinguish forest fires in areas inaccessible for cars and which are unsuitable to implement air-borne vehicles due to short distances, particularly to combat fires in forests along roads, rivers and so on.
SUBSTANCE: device has at least three jet engines arranged symmetrically one to another around vertical axis and combined into blocks. Each block is connected to flexible vertical pipeline, which is linked with flexible horizontal pipeline. Horizontal pipeline in turn is connected to water source through supply pump. Power supply cable of each engine is connected to land-based power-source (electric generator) and control unit. Jet engines are electro-hydro-jet engines, water source is natural or artificial water pool and/or tank-car. Water is supplied simultaneously with power by pipelines. Hydro-jet engines generate jets along with moving flexible pipelines upwards, displacing them towards fire site and spraying water above fire site.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety, reduced cost of fire fighting, possibility of using land-based vehicles to extinguish fires with water.
