FIELD: equipment for chemical processes. SUBSTANCE: microreactor is designed for investigation of kinetics of gaseous heterogeneous catalytic processes and for determination of catalyst activity. It contains coaxially combined inner and outer cylinders, removable chamber with pocket for thermocouple, external heating element, stirring arrangement, countercurrent tube-in-tube heat exchanger with gills and is provided with cone. Stirring arrangement is that of external type and ensures constant productivity. Removable chamber in its upper part has sealing spherical protrusion. Microreactor contains two thermal elements, one of them (controlling) being positioned over the catalyst bed and the other inside it. Microreactor is additionally provided with a sealing connection consisting of fluoroplastic insert and captive nut located in the zone with temperature lower than catalyst bed temperature.
