FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: non-synchronous automatic line additionally has multi-position satellites 2 of units 10 to be machined. Angle bars are secured along the parallel ribs of the housing of satellite 2. Between the angle bars are machining units 10 provided on the sides of the housing of satellite 2. Top slide 25 and bottom slide 26, which are made as guides, are secured on the angle bars projecting in pair from the side of satellite 1. Slides 25,26 are received in the grooves provided from the bottom and top of the housing of satellite 1 of parts. Mechanisms for basing and securing satellite 1 of parts to satellites 2 of units are secured to the angle bars. Slides 25,26 have driving supports and are mated for permitting satellites 1 of parts to move along them. Satellites 2 of units are mounted on the intermediate bases and connected with satellite 1 in pair to permit satellites 2 to move along guides 3 of the line. The automatic line has sets of vertical stands provided with gear wheels for moving satellites 2. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities. 2 cl, 5 dwg
