METHOD OF CUSTOM-MADE PARQUET PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: woodworking industry, methods of custom-made parquet production mainly from non-commercial wood hard type tree used in parquet industry in particular. SUBSTANCE: aim is to simplify production process with simultaneous raise of parquet quality. The aim is achieved due to the fact, that method provides for production of parquet blanks, their location in drying cabinets and mechanical working. Blanks production is exercised using transversal sawing of mainly hard and soft type non-commercial wood with diameter of 50 - 120 mm for plates of 10 - 15 mm thick with their following placement in drying cabinets under action of electromagnetic pulsed emission of infra-red spectrum, that creates tempera temperature t = 20 - 80 C, formed by special ceramic heaters made in the form of tubes of 10 - 12 mm diameter and placed in chambers of drying cabinets equidistantly in respect to treated blanks providing uniform radiation over whole their surface. In the case exposition of radiation is 0.8 - 3 s with intervals between pulses from 0.5 to 10 s during whole cycle of drying, that lasts from 38 to 46 hours. In the case wavelength of emission is from 3.5 to 52 mcm with flux density from 200 to 300 W/sq m with following mechanical working. Usage of the method in "Dominik" Ltd of Mr Voronek allowed by more than 50 % to simplify process of custom-made parquet production and correspondingly to decrease labour consumption and costs of output production. Besides, proposed method decreases volume of used equipment by one third and allows to save commercial wood.
