FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to roofing and waterproof materials and may be used to protect buildings and constructions from moisture. Invention provides elevated break resistance and durability due to preparing layered material including outer layer containing polymer and bitumen-polymer composition and inner layer in the form of polyethylene film 0.02-0.03 mm thick or 0.02-0.035-mm polypropylene film. Bitumen-polymer composition contains (in wt %): bitumen, 60-68; polymer additive, 5-7; rubber crumb, 10-15; crushed cord fibers, 1-5; indene-cumaron resin, 1-4; colophony, 1-3; filler, the balance. This composition is located between polymer layer and polyethylene or polypropylene film. Application of such layered material includes unwinding, heating of bitumen-polymer layer at 250-35 C followed by rolling this layer. EFFECT: improved performance characteristics. 4 cl, 3 tbl
