FIELD: waterproofing materials. SUBSTANCE: blend contains, weight parts: butyl rubber 20-100, ethylene-propylene rubber 5-100, reclaimed butyl rubber 0-50, thiuram 0.2-1.5, captax 0.2-1.5, zinc oxide 0.5- 15.0, stearic acid 0.3-5.0, modified protective wax 0.2-3.0, Diafen FP 0.1-1.5, quinol ED 0.2-3.0, special-type oil 0.5- 10.0, chloroparaffin 3.0-15.0, carbon black 15.0-75.0, and kaolin 10.0-50.0. Waterproofing of bridge framework slabs consists in applying mastic onto mechanically cleaned slabs and placing above roll waterproofing material. Mastic utilized is adhesive polymer mastic based on polychloroprene rubber. It is applied with thickness 0.6-0.9 mm onto surfaces of slabs and panels of the roll waterproofing material and aged for 3- 4 min, after which panels are pressed to slabs for joining them. In this case, panels, which are 1.7-2.3 mm in thickness and 0.8-1.2 m in length, are laid with overlap 60-100 mm. 2-2.5 days after laying waterproofing material, its surface is coated with one or more layers of primer based on bitumen and isoprene rubber, the first one being aged for 2-6 h and the latter until complete hardening.
