FIELD: mechanical engineering; road building machinery. SUBSTANCE: compacting member of asphalt spreader is made in form of two section plate. Rear section, in direction of spreader movement, is made in form of part of cylinder along its length. Working member is connected with machine frame by means of hinge joint whose axis coincides with geometrical axis of cylinder part of which is rear section of working member. EFFECT: improved compacting of asphalt owing to use of complex loading. 2 dwg
