FIELD: earth moving machinery. SUBSTANCE: front end equipment of dragline-excavator has boom, bucket with hanger, pull and hoist winches connected with bucket by cables, holding winch with holding cable. Equipment has also set of holding sheaves installed one over the other through which holding cable is passed. One of holding sheaves is arranged between pull guide sheaves, and upper holding sheave is installed in limiting arrangement for limited vertical deflection from axis. Installation of holding sheave in limiting arrangement makes it possible to use holding sheave as holding cable layer for holding winch drum. Holding winch is coupled with upper holding sheave by means of connecting support member relieving metal members of superstructure from stopping forces appearing when bucket is stopped over place of dumping. Such design improved efficiency of bucket holding as set of holding sheaves through which holding cable is passed allows free movement of bucket cable in underboom zone and holding of bucket in transportation zone at any level relative to excavator site.
