FIELD: transport, civil engineering and agricultural engineering; internal combustion engines with device to control air blowing of liquid cooling system. SUBSTANCE: system has radiator with inlet and outlet connections communicating with inlet and outlet of engine cooling jacket, respectively. Shutter is installed at cooling air inlet to radiator, and fan is mounted at outlet. System has additional shutter placed between radiator and fan. Both main and additional shutters, when radiator is to covered, form screening of the most heated portions of radiator near inlet connected. EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption and toxicity of exhaust gases, cut down expenses and labour input in operation and repair of engine. 2 cl, 1 dwg
