FIELD: thermal engineering; power generation under stationary and shipboard conditions. SUBSTANCE: turbine-generator set has lower stage with vortex heat generator using liquid medium, heat-transfer chamber, evaporator connected to low-potential heat source, condenser, and pump, upper stage with centrifugal heat generator and electric drive mounted on common shaft and placed inside annular heat exchanger, steam turbine, turbine with second condenser, and electric generator. Centrifugal heat generator is isochoric machine in the form of air-tight hollow rotor filled with heavy inert gas; turbine is mounted on common axis and connected to electric drive shaft by means of electromagnetic coupling. Electric generator is reversible machine built in common frame with electric drive. Turbine condenser is placed inside heat-transfer chamber of lower stage. Turbine-generator set can operate on standard hydrocarbon fuel and on low-potential ambient heat. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 5 cl, 1 dwg
