FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to dynamic balancing of rigid intersupport rotors run on alternating speeds of rotation, in particular, of current generators of special, assignment. Proposed method consists in supporting of shaft of rotor in bearings, in rotation of rotor and in simultaneous measurement of amplitude and phase of vibrations of shaft of rotor. Clearances are taken up in turn in bearings of one support prior to establishment of stable direct precession of geometric axis of rotor around geometric axis of bearings and amplitude and phase of vibrations of shaft of rotor on precession frequency is measured for the other bearing support. EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of method.
