FIELD: high-speed turbomachines (turbopump units of liquid-propellant rocket engines, turbocompressors, aircraft gas- turbine engines). SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing and cover with cylindrical inner bearing surfaces and inner bearing end faces. Housing and cover are provided with cylindrical mounting member on their outside. Housing and cover are connected over jointing planes running through axis of inner bearing cylindrical surfaces. Ball bearings of rotor to be balanced are mounted on bearing cylindrical surfaces between inner bearing end faces. Mounted between inner bearing end face and end face of ball bearing is flexible axial member. Housing and cover are mounted in inner housing including lower and upper parts interconnected over jointing planes. Outer housing has outer cylindrical mounting members which are coaxial relative to cylindrical mounting members of housing and cover. Housing, cover and outer housing are provided with lubricant supply and discharge passages. Outer housing is provided with rotor sagging sensors. Low-frequency balance of rotor is performed without outer housing. EFFECT: improved quality of balance due to avoidance of axial and radial clearances in bearings; enhanced reliability of securing of rotor; improved quality of bearing lubrication. 5 cl, 2 dwg
