FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology and can be used in production and operation of metal working machines. The method consists in measuring the amplitudes of vibration rate and vibration acceleration in the machine spindle local heavy-duty integral point at a maximum operating speed described by magnitudes defined from certain relations. The said relations allow for the fact that amplitude values of vibration rate define the degree of effects brought about on vibration of every component of particular coordinated motion of the spindle axis of rotation. Note that the vibration acceleration amplitude values indicate origination of dynamic loads in the spindle assemblies.
EFFECT: higher validity and accuracy of diagnostics.
