FIELD: design of medical endoscopes wit direction different from straight. SUBSTANCE: proposed objective lens has ball lens, afocal optical elements with flat working surfaces positioned in front of it. Space between lens and optical elements is filled with self-solidifying optical medium which refractive index is less than refractive index of ball lens. At least one additional afocal optical element is positioned after ball lens, space between it and ball lens is filled with self-solidifying optical medium. Ball lens is manufactured from material with refractive index optical n1 1.9 and refractive index of self-solidifying optical medium n2=1.4-1.6. Afocal optical elements can be manufactured in the form of plane-parallel plates and afocal optical elements positioned in front of ball lens can be made in the form of wedge and prism.
