FIELD: microelectronics. SUBSTANCE: mathematical description of photomask compiled in computer code is entered in computer. Picked off computer output are signals corresponding to photomask pattern which are applied to associated printer. The latter converts signals into photomask pattern applied to paper sheet which is directly used as photomask; pattern on sheet is given mirror image relative to printed-circuit board. Photomask transferred to printed-circuit board is aligned with light-sensing surface of PCB blank with paper photomask surface bearing the pattern. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 1 dwg
