FIELD: lubricating oils. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at reducing investment and operational expenses associated with utilizing worked out motor oil and subsequent use of "utilized" product, in particular, as reagent for preventing asphalt/tar/paraffin deposits. Method consists in that worked out oil (0.5-2.0 wt %) is combined with 4,4-dimethyl-1,3- dioxane (98.0-99.5) followed by pumping combined product into petroleum stream in oil-field equipment in proportion 1:(0.005- 0.020). EFFECT: reduced expenses on anti-deposit reagent. 3 tbl
