SUBSTANCE: packing is made of block members in the form of bricks having fins on their one wide lateral face. Width of said bricks is equal to thickness of base of said blocks. height of bricks and distance between adjacent fins are equal to hydraulic diameter of ducts of packing. Said fins and narrow lateral face have along their length tapered cuts or vertical cutouts on their ends. Mean value of depth of tapered cut along rib length or mean value of depth of vertical cutout is equal to 0.1-0.25 of thickness of block base. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
