FIELD: construction; working members for excavating full-size trenches. SUBSTANCE: excavator bucket has bottom plate, extensible walls with cutting edges and hinge. Bottom plate is rigidly connected with rear and side walls. Installed in through ports of walls by hinges are additional truncated buckets, prismoid in shape for smooth varying angle of inclination and locking. Upper parts of buckets are interconnected by mechanism for changing their angle of inclination. Cutting edge and bottom plate plane may be curved by their bending towards the center and downward. Angle of inclination of walls of each additional bucket may vary within 10 to 90 deg, and mechanism for changing the angle of inclination of additional buckets may be made in form of screw pair.
