FIELD: folding portable ladders applicable for use on flat base, for instance, in rooms, or on flat firm grounds. SUBSTANCE: folding ladder consists of two posts, semisteps hinged in the middle part, central support and props hinged to posts and to each other and installed for axial movement along the central support. The length of props is larger than that of semisteps. Rigidly connected to central support at right angle are blocks hinged with semisteps. Ladder props may be interconnected by means of block movably installed on the central support. Semisteps may be made for embracing a part of blocks protruding beyond the diameter of central support and for resting on them. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
