FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comes to inertia-pulsed conversion of periodical action of inertia masses into unidirectional movement of vehicle by provision of short time interaction of inertia-pulse members rotating relative to drive shaft with other inertia member installed on housing. Inertia-pulse members move under action of centrifugal forces and Coriolis forces in diametric and tangential directions and transmit movement pulse to vehicle. Device has housing of vehicle with means of coupling with inertia-pulse converter of periodical action into unidirectional movement, and drive. Inertia-pulse converter is made in form of tube secured on housing along which inertia mass moves in diametric and tangential directions and returns into working chamber.
