FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to devices for measuring the mass flow rate of liquid carriers. A method for measuring the flow rate of a liquid carrier using the Coriolis effect consists of placing a rotor assembly with a central rotation shaft and a plurality of radial channels from the outer circumference of the rotor assembly to the central cavity of the rotor assembly inside the housing. The rotor assembly is made from two coaxial cylinders fastened with end caps. Radial channels are located in the same plane. The inner cylinder is fixed on a horizontal shaft, which is mounted in rotation bearings mounted in a closed housing. The housing encloses the rotor assembly with minimal clearance and has two openings in the plane of the radial channels along a horizontal line passing through the axis of rotation. Flexible conduits are connected to the holes. The flow rate of the liquid carrier is measured with a dynamometer, a loaded housing and a rotor assembly.
EFFECT: expansion of the measurement range of the mass flow rate of the liquid carrier.
