RADAR DEVICE TO IDENTIFY AERIAL TARGETS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: radiolocation, tracking radars. SUBSTANCE: it is proposed to insert into circuit of known device additional discrimination unit composed of squarer, first and second delay lines, first and second amplitude storage circuits with reset, generator of reset pulses, adder, full-wave rectifier, divider, commutator and identification unit. Transceiver of device is supplemented with commutator and frequency divider with corresponding change of interunit couplings. Proposed device can provide for higher authenticity of identification thanks to usage of informative indicator of recognition analyzing values of change of levels of signals reflected by targets over each pair of adjacent bearing angles in case of random yawing, pitching and rolling. EFFECT: enhanced probability of correct radar identification of aerial targets. 1 dwg
