FIELD: plastic restorative surgery, cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: first incisions are made along edge of nasal paths followed by incising skin-coated area of nasal septum. Excess skin is removed through this incision and through incisions made at base of nose wings. In this manner, spindle-shaped skin pieces are removed as excess formed due to presence of thick skin. As distinct from formerly used approach whereby excess skin is incised in nasal crest area, proposed method makes it possible to operate large group of patients with thick, porous skin at tip area of nose.
