FIELD: medical engineering, equipment for combined treatment with magnetic fields and optical radiation in infrared spectral region. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises cylindrical casing having lid at its axial end, magnets carried by disc mounted on shaft of electric motor housed by casing to generate rotating magnetic field on side of casing axial-end lid and infrared radiation sources connected to excitation system and made in the form of light-emitting diode or diodes adapted to emit coherent light. Novelty is that infrared radiation sources are arranged on partition disposed in casing interior on side of disc opposed to patient. Disc is made in the form of shutter that is profiled in its rotation plane. Disc-shutter comprises projections and recesses for fixing magnets therein, and openings for periodically emitting infrared radiation in direction of casing axial-end lid. The latter is provided with openings coaxial to light-emitting diodes for exposing patient to infrared radiation. Apparatus also comprises at least one additional light-emitting diode, its optical axis lies in shutter plane situated at mid-height of magnet-carrying projections and is oriented in radial direction. Additional light-emitting diode is secured to projection protruding from inner side of axial-end, while said casing has in its side wall opening coaxial to additional light-emitting diode and intended for passage of infrared rays. Apparatus comprises II-shaped shutter adapted to simultaneously cover all of light-emitting diodes, and unit for selecting and varying rotational speed of shutter. Apparatus is very effective since it permits to subject reflexogenic zones and pathologic area of patient's body to combined effect of both magnetic fields and coherent optical radiation within infrared spectral region.
