FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is to improve physico-chemical properties of autoclave-hardening argillite- based cellular concrete and economical efficiency of its production. In manufacture of cementless cellular concrete, as silica component, argillite is utilized. So concrete mix contains 10-25% of lime (quicklime), 75-90% of argillite, and aluminium powder in excess of 100% of lime and argillite, water being added to optimal consistency of mix. When using argillite as silica component, a new cementing substance with new physico-mechanical properties gives rise to minimum material expenses, first of all energy resources. With the same density, material grade increases in regard to its strength in average by a factor of 1.7. Water-resistance improves as well. Cost of material decreases by 25-30%. Reduced are also weight of building structure and transportation expenses on material delivery. EFFECT: improved quality and reduced cost.
