FIELD: manufacture of fragmentation warheads, grenades and rockets. SUBSTANCE: preset crushing of the body shell is realized due to saw-toothed destruction localizers on the inner surface in the form of lateral grooves with polyhedral flutes on their slanting side. The base of the flutes is sunk in the shell to the width of the lateral grooves and shifted a half-step relative to the flutes above and below positioned groves. The angle at the apex of tapered flutes is optimized within 65 to 80 deg. The hitting elements have a spherical shape with a form factor lower than 1.5. The yield of effective fragments is increased by 30%. EFFECT: enhanced hitting effect. 3 dwg
