FIELD: measurement of indicated power of Diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: the method includes operations of measurement of the working parameter of each cylinder and comparison of the obtained results. The working parameter is measured simultaneously in all cylinders in time intervals when the cylinder pressure exceeds the constant or slowly varying counterpressure of the line in the zero-pressure compression zone by discrete pickups, for instance of the valve type.
