FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: the device uses foundation 1, headstock 2 and tailstock 3. Installed in headstock 2 is spindle 4 for mounting and rotation of arbor 10, with the inner race of bearing 11 secured on it. Tailstock 3 carries the measuring means, with bush 12 for accommodation of the outer race of bearing 11 under test freely secured in its flexible support. The design of the flexible support provides for its adjustment to quasizero stiffness due to which a high sensitivity and accuracy of measurements is ensured. The support has a high radial and axial stiffness. The torque measuring system built on the principle of force compensation makes it possible to determine the bearing angular vibrations. Provision is made for plotting the frictional torque as a function of rotational speed. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and accuracy of measurements. 2 cl, 2 dwg
