FIELD: electronics, quantum generators of reference frequency. SUBSTANCE: device has magnetic screen, coil which generates permanent magnetic field, thermostat which contains emitting source, resonator with cylindrical cavity for H011 oscillations. Resonator is limited by end walls and has microwave field drive, photodetector and cylindrical glass cell which is filled with alkali metal vapors and is located in coaxial in resonator chamber. Outer cell length l is $$$, its outer diameter d is $$$, length of cylindrical chamber of resonator is less than $$$, where $$$ is wavelength of nuclear transition of alkali metal in vacuum. In addition resonator has dielectric plug which is located in coaxial to it and contains absorbing cell. Plug length is not greater than outer length of cell. Drive of microwave field is designed as feedback loop which is located on face wall of resonator between cylindrical wall of resonator chamber and outer surface in recess of dielectric plug.
