FIELD: radio engineering, in particular, frequency converters. SUBSTANCE: frequency multiplier uses a transistor, whose collector circuit has a resonant tuned circuit, a series circuit of an inductance coil and capacitor, microwave cable with accumulation of charge positioned in a microwave field exciter, and a bias circuit. Its characteristic feature is in the fact that at least one diode with charge accumulation is connected in series with and close to the diode, the anode of the previous diode is connected to the cathode of the subsequent one. Besides, a variable capacitor is connected in parallel with the cable on the side of the circuit consisting of an inductance coil and capacitor; the length of the microwave cable does not exceed (0,12+M/2)λк, where λк - wavelength corresponding to the input signal frequency, m= 0 or m=1. The offered device with two diodes makes it possible to increase the power conversion factor of input signal to output harmonic power. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
