FIELD: protective equipment. SUBSTANCE: mitten has body composed of rear and palm parts with finger stall for thumb and vibration- proof insert positioned adjacent to palm part. Body has finger stall for index finger and inner layer. Vibration-proof insert made from polyurethane foam is positioned between body and layer and has thickness of 0.05-0.1 of palm part width. Insert is made as integral part having form corresponding to palm part and provided with finger stalls for thumb and index finger. Insert has gas cells which are randomly distributed through its thickness and made in the form of spheres of different diameter, whose total volume is 0.4-0.6 of the total volume of insert. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and improved protection from vibration. 3 dwg
