FIELD: household devices. SUBSTANCE: swab has hollow handle with longitudinal slots, where spring-loaded slides are fixed, cable wound onto rotary shaft positioned within handle. Ends of cable are attached to slides. Shaft is inserted into openings of plates, which are rigidly fixed to working head adjacent to hollow handle opening. Rotary shaft has flanges to which are fixed clamps. Similar clamps are positioned on curved ends of working head. Clamps are adapted to secure porous rolls provided with channels for receiving flexible tie-rods, whose ends are also fixed to clamps. Moisture is squeezed from porous rolls due to twisting of rolls during tightening of cable by upper or lower slide with following rotation of shaft. Rotary shaft with flanges and clamps is arranged in plate openings and attached on working head at location adjacent to hollow handle opening. Ends of working head are made curved and provided with clamps. Porous member is positioned between clamps on working head and flanges of rotary shaft. Flexible tie-rods are positioned within channels of porous member and attached to working head and to shaft flange. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction, increased convenience by eliminating direct contact of User's hands with washing material such as porous rolls. 2 cl, 3 dwg
