FIELD: medicine, expendable medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: syringe 1 is made in the form of cylindrical casing 2 with flow-permitting tip 3, where needle 8 for subcutaneous injections is secured. By means of rod 9 and piston 10 housed by casing 2, liquid is admitted into syringe 1 and expelled therefrom via flow-permitting tip 3. Rod 9 includes blocking unit prefabricated to assume prescribed position. Insert 25 mounted at remote end of casing 2 includes at least one longitudinally extending flexible tab 28a which is secured to one end and carried radially acting, inward directed driven element 31 at its free end. Driven element 31 can slide along surface of rod 9. As rod 9 moves to assume blocking position, driven element 31 comes in engagement with blocking unit of rod 9 to thereby block any further longitudinal movement of rod 9 and piston 10. It prevents re-use of syringe. EFFECT: improved design. 19 cl, 22 dwg
