FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Device for agent injection contains a syringe containing a syringe cavity, a piston element received in the syringe cavity with possibility of sliding, and a hollow needle in fluid communication with the syringe cavity, wherein the piston member is configured to move from the proximal position to the distal position. Power unit is made with possibility of force transfer to the piston element. Driven by the user, the brake unit is configured to reversibly displace the piston member in at least one intermediate position between the proximal position and the distal position. Brake unit driven by the user contains at least one friction element attached to the piston element. Friction element is made with possibility of reversible counteraction to movement of piston element. Disclosed are alternative versions of the device for injection of an agent, differing by the performance of the braking assembly, and a method of injecting the agent.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of discomfort associated with injection rate due to syringe piston element braking.
