FIELD: mechanical engineering; lifting cranes. SUBSTANCE: drive has engine 1 and reduction gear 2 installed for turning relative to axle of gear 4 and fixed on frame 5. Width of reduction gear can be reduced by using, when assembling reduction gear 2, hole 8 in housing 7 whose diameter is greater than diameter of output gear 4. Fastening of output gear 4 directly only on driving shaft 13 also reduces width of reduction gear. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of drive and overall dimensions of lower extending portion of crane. 5 cl, 8 dwg
