FIELD: chemical technology, organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic hydrogenation of pyrrolidine nitro-derivatives to the corresponding amines used for synthesis of drugs. Hydrogenation of 1-ethyl-2-nitromethylenepyrrolidine is carried out on catalyst "palladium-on-carbon" with a mixture of carbon dioxide and hydrogen at mole ratio CO2 : H2 = (0.1-10.0):1.0, under total pressure 1-10 atm, at 25-100 C. Depending on mole ratio CO2 : H2 the following solvents can be used: sulfuric acid aqueous solution at mole ratio H2SO4 : 1-ethyl-2-nitromethylenepyrrolidine = (0.5-1.0): 1.0, or 1-ethyl-2-aminomethylpyrrolidine sulfate aqueous solution at concentration 0.1-3.0 M. In the process of hydrogenation in flow-reactor gaseous reagents, solvent and 1-ethyl-2-nitromethylenepyrrolidine as solid substance were dosed continuously into reactor to provide the formation of 1-ethyl-2-nitromethylenepyrrolidine saturated solution in catalyst layer directly.
