FIELD: induction heating applicable in heat treatment of large-size parts with a wide range of part type-sizes. SUBSTANCE: machine for hardening of large-size parts has bed, mechanism for installation, registration and fixing of parts in form of post with vertical guides and carriage secured to guides with upper and lower centers. Power drive secured inside the post with rod, whose one end is rigidly connected through bracket to carriage, high- frequency step-down transformer, adapter for installation of changeable induction heater, and machine control system. Upper center is made in form of body and spring-loaded tail spindle, and lower center, in form of spindle and body accommodating hydraulic motor connected with spindle through reducing gear. Carriage has rollers mutually perpendicular to one another with T-shaped recesses for installation of regulated centers movable relative to carriage. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
