FIELD: protection of metals from corrosion by means of microarc oxidation, in particular, by electrolytic treatment of metals and alloys; applicable in different industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes insulation of contact unit of conjunction of protective member of the system of current lead with article in the presence of 60-100% aqueous solution of sodium, silicate and conduction of initial stage of electrolysis under conditions of local arc formation near the current lead before formation of solid-phase seal between protective member and article surface.
