FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant coatings on articles made from aluminium and its alloys. Method is characterized by that article is subjected to microwave oxidation in anodic-cathodic mode at current density of 7-7.5 A/dm2 and anode and cathode current ratio 1.0:0.9 for 70-75 min in an alkaline electrolyte, containing aqueous solutions of sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate with concentration 3.5-4 and 11.5-12 g/l, respectively, ground to roughness parameter Ra 0.8-1.6, cleaned from mineral and organic contaminants, soaked in an ultrasonic bath for 10-13 min with a polytetrafluoroethylene F-4D suspension, dried and thermally treated at temperature 40-50 and 290-300 °C for 10-12 and 60-62 minutes, respectively.
EFFECT: high wear resistance and antifriction properties of coatings.
