FIELD: electroforming, production of thick-layer coats by anodization in electrolytes to ensure formation of electric insulation coat. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of solid oxidation of aluminium and its alloys in electrolyte includes feed of voltage to article that is used as electrolyte. Starting period of electrolysis is conducted with maximum value of current density which process of growth of oxide film permits and with constant forming voltage adjusted by change of active area of charge. Process allows articles of large dimensions or of considerable area of charge to be used. EFFECT: enhanced mechanical properties of oxide coats.
