HATCHING TRAY Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: hatching tray is made in the form of rectangular box and is made from single folded wire panel with rectangular cells, which are oriented in parallel with elongate side wall of tray. Elongate side walls of cells are formed by filling wires disposed on inner surface of tray. Core wires defining short sides of cells are disposed on outer surface of tray so that space between short side of bottom (line along which wire panel is folded to form box) and proximate core wire is at least 5 mm. Box is provided with rim made in the form of frame, to which wire defining side walls of tray is welded from inner side. Ends of wire are flattened by 2/3 of their initial diameter at locations of welded joints with upper rim. Length of welded joints is 1/4 of upper rim circle section length. Guides are mounted on outer side of bottom, each formed as corner member of intricate configuration. Tray is covered with continuous layer of thermoplastic material. EFFECT: increased efficiency by simplified construction and improved egg incubation mode. 2 cl, 1 dwg
