FIELD: poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: hen battery floor has rectangular frame and screen welded to frame and formed as welded grid with cells of 12x50 size. Cells are oriented along longer frame side. Floor is covered with polymeric layer. Floor is made common for two opposed cages of one battery tier and is provided with rigidity ribs connected with frame and dividing floor surface into three equal parts. Rigidity ribs and frame are made from rods of equal diameter. Rigidity ribs and frame joints are decreased by half the diameter of rod cross section. Ends of screen rods and rigidity ribs at locations of connection with frame are reduced to 2/3 of their initial diameter. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
