FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to premixes used for prophylaxis and treatment of animals with the impaired metabolism. Active component of premix - water-soluble polyelectrolyte complex of cationic polyelectrolyte, anionic detergent and filling agent taken from the order involving wheat bran, milled wheat or barley, irradiated food yeast, zeolite. Also, premix has macroelement mineral salts (magnesium) and trace elements (zinc, cobalt, manganese, copper, iodine), vitamins (U, E, A, D₃) and phosphorus-containing components. Obtained premixes were added to the mixed food composition and the latter is given to calves at doses 1-5 kg/100 kg living mass.
