FIELD: polishing with the help of chromium oxide. SUBSTANCE: method involves heat treatment of suspension of chromium anhydride, the process takes place at 350-370 C within 1 h and at 980-1100 C within 350-370 C. Precipitate of waste being prepared by neutralization of sewage of chromium production is added into said suspension, quantity of said freshly precipitated and washed precipitate is 1-1.5 mass parts per 2 mass parts of chromium anhydride. Thus prepared cake is ground, classified and washed by hot water against water soluble materials. Then precipitate is separated by filtration and dried at 100-105 C.
