FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: method involves treatment of biologically treated sewage with flocculant. Flocculant is a product of interaction of polymethylvinylpyridine latex (molecular mass is 100000-300000 Da) with stoichiometric amount of benzyl chloride that is fed to sewage containing the active slime at amount 0.10-0.20 wt.-% with respect to slime.
