FIELD: measurement of flow rates of gases and liquids, specifically, of dry saturated steam. SUBSTANCE: temperature of wall in diametric section of pipe and average temperature of heat transfer agent or pressure in case of flow of dry saturated steam are measured. Density of heat flow is found by readings of differential thermocouple with junctions arranged on opposite sides of flexible belt-heat flow meter made of low heat conductive electric insulation material and put on surface of pipe. Flow rate of heat transfer agent under turbulent mode of its flow in pipe is determined by mathematical dependence for liquid and dry saturated aqueous steam. EFFECT: improved authenticity of method.
