FIELD: power engineering, in particular, equipment for removal of condensate from heat consuming units, where water vapor is used as heating heat-carrier. SUBSTANCE: condensate drain has casing with supplying and discharge channels provided with grids, throttle member positioned within casing and made in the form of layer of spherical bodies. Casing is made cylindrical, with axial opening of uniform diameter or with stepped axial opening, with diameter of opening steps sequentially increasing in direction of condensate flow. Condensate drain is manufactured by drilling or welding of its components, with small section tube cuts being used as basic material. EFFECT: simplified construction and reduced labor intensity for manufacture of condensate drain. 3 dwg
