FIELD: test equipment. SUBSTANCE: one of the lines to be tested is evacuated and filled with test gas up to the atmospheric pressure, and the excess test pressure in the line to be tested is built up by evacuation of the other line of the system simultaneously with that to be tested, with subsequent supply of test gas of the preset excess pressure of ballast gas to it after the line under test is filled; the test is started with the check-up of the hydraulic line, and after the gas line is filled with test gas, overflow of test gas from the gas line through the compensator membrane to the hydraulic line is measured, and only then, if it happens that the actual leakage of the membrane is below the allowable one, the preset excess pressure of ballast gas is fed to the hydraulic line.
